Richard advises on all aspects of employment law, from recruitment to termination and post-termination issues. His experience encompasses the full range of employment issues from drafting executive service agreements to advising on complex employee relations, remuneration and bonuses, discrimination, TUPE and dismissals. He also advises on drafting and enforcing restrictive covenants, team moves and breaches of contract. He has extensive advocacy experience in both employment tribunals and the Employment Appeal Tribunal.
His clients include employers and senior executives, both UK and international, across a wide range of sectors including financial services, professional and business services, recruitment, publishing, software and IT.
Richard joined Gunnercooke in 2015. Previously he was a partner at Ogletree Deakins International, Speechly Bircham (following a merger with Campbell Hooper) and Dawsons, after qualifying as a solicitor at Paisner & Co in 1994 then working for the Engineering Employers’ Federation.
