I am barrister and a member of 12KBW's employment team, having moved to the Bar in 2019. Previously, I practiced for seven years as a solicitor specialising in employment and discrimination disputes, most recently in a Tier 1 ranked employment team, having had the privilege of training with a Top 20 UK City firm.

My current practice encompasses all areas of employment law, including unfair dismissal, discrimination and whistleblowing. I also undertake commercial employment work, including confidentiality, trade secret and team move cases. I have considerable advocacy any experience, appearing in the Tribunals and civil courts on a near-daily basis, as well as experience of representing clients in formal, informal and judicial mediations.

In my work as a solicitor, I undertook all aspects of employment litigation - including Tribunal, EAT, High Court and Court of Appeal cases. My experience including managing complex discrimination, equal pay and whistleblowing cases. Whilst I generally accept instructions via solicitors, my experience having been a solicitor means that I am very well placed to assist individuals and businesses on a direct / public access basis.

I also have particular experience of advising on worker status and gig economy issues, and my commentary on the subject has been quoted by the Times, the Guardian, the Wall Street Journal and the BBC.
