Paul Quain

Originally a barrister and having worked at both Charles Russell LLP and Linklaters LLP Paul Quain is a partner in the boutique magic circle employment law firm GQ Employment Law LLP. Paul is a long time member of ELA who was chair of the ELA Pro Bono Group for many years and also a long serving member of the management committee. Paul's has worked on some of the most high profile employment cases including Stransky v Bristol Rugby Limited, Cross v British Airways, Rutherford -v- Secretary of State for Trade & Industry and Keen -v- Commerzbank. He has particular experience in high profile and complex employment litigation, multi-national business sales and takeovers and complex redundancy situations. He is also well known in the financial sector. He is frequently called upon to comment on employment issues on radio and television and often appears in the national press.
