Greg has experience of employment and discrimination litigation including appeals to the Inner House of the Court of Session from the Employment Appeal Tribunal; appeals to the EAT in both Edinburgh and London; Employment Tribunals in Scotland and England; enforcement actions arising from restrictive covenants; and claims arising from breach of contract.


He has acted for individuals, corporations and public bodies involving a wide range of issues including agency workers, discrimination (age, disability, maternity, race, sex, sexual orientation), equal pay, part-timers, redundancy, status, trade union law, TUPE, unfair dismissal, whistleblowing; and professional misconduct.


He has advised local authorities, employers and individuals in connection with the application of TUPE to public sector pension schemes, the drafting and effect of admission agreements under the Local Government Pension Scheme(Scotland) and complaints to the Pensions Ombudsman in connection with redundancy and pension rights.

He is familiar with working with expert witnesses from a range of disciplines including accountants, actuaries, employment consultants, investment consultants, job evaluation experts, forensic scientists, handwriting experts and medical experts (Nurses, GPs, Physicians, Surgeons, Psychiatrists, Psychologists). He is experienced in the use of interpreters and sign language interpreters in hearings.
