Peter practices predominantly in the area of Employment Law representing and advising both employers and employees. He has considerable experience representing clients, previously before the Labour Relations Commission, the Employment Appeals Tribunal and the Equality Tribunal, and, currently, before the Workplace Relations Commission and the Labour Court. He also represents clients in Employment Law matters before the Civil Courts, most commonly at the High Court and Court of Appeal, but also, occasionally, at the District and Circuit Court. Peter advises on a wide range of Employment related issues, both contentious and non-contentious covering all aspects of the Employment relationship.

Peter holds a Diploma in Employment Law (UCD) and is a member of the Associate Faculty of the Law Society of Ireland’s Law School where he tutors students on the Professional Practice Course.

He is the current Chair of the Employment Law Association of Ireland, having previously served as Deputy Chair for a number of years. He is also member of the DSBA and sits on that Association’s specialist Employment Law Committee.

Peter was educated at University College Dublin (BA) and Dublin City University (MA). Peter worked for a number of years in the Department of Justice, Equality & Law Reform, before joining this firm in 2007.
