Kim Emery is a Senior Associate in DQ’s Employment and Corporate teams.
With a particular expertise in employment law (and being the only dual qualified HR professional and employment advocate in the Isle of Man), Kim advises on all matters of employment law and HR ranging from reviews of contracts of employment, consultancy agreements and cross jurisdictional issues to dismissals, redundancies, and executive level settlement agreements. Kim is also currently the Chair of the CIPD Isle of Man branch and regularly presents and provides in house training on various topics of employment law.
Kim’s areas of specialism in the corporate team include banking and finance matters (acting for financial institutions, private lenders and corporate borrowers), mergers and acquisitions, legal due diligence reviews and opinions relating to cross border property transactions, in addition to advising on general corporate law matters.
