I graduated with an honours degree from Dundee University before completing my Diploma in Legal Practice at Glasgow Graduate School of Law. I qualified in August 2004 and joined Levy & McRae in August 2005. I was made an Associate in January 2007.
I have specialised in employment law since August 2005 and deal with all aspects of employment law, both contentious and non-contentious. I advise on a full spectrum of employment issues arising in the workplace including equality, sickness absences, flexible working requests, redundancy, performance management and disciplinary and grievance matters. I also engage in mediation and advise on compromise agreements, provide tailored employment documentation and advise on the enforceability of restrictive covenants.
I represent both employees and employers before employment tribunals throughout Scotland and I am presently involved in many high value employment tribunal claims. I am also experienced in advising and representing trade union members in a wide range of employment-related matters.
Coupled with my experience, my friendly and down to earth manner enables me to provide clients with workable solutions and sound commercial advice.
