AT WORK
I have been working as an Employment Law Specialist since 2000 and joined Clough & Willis in April 2006. I have Bachelors of Science degree in Management specialising in Human Resources, a Masters degree in Employment Law and a first class honours degree in Law.
I advise all types of companies on employment law issues, from SMEs with a small number of employees to large PLCs employing thousands of staff. He has helped companies from all sectors of industry.

Employment Tribunals
I take the client through the whole process from responding to the ET1 to conducting the case at the hearing. I have conducted approximately 200 hearings appearing in Tribunals across the UK .
I cover all aspects of employment law from relatively uncomplicated wages claims to extremely complicated TUPE and discrimination cases lasting a number of days at the Tribunal.

Advice and Guidance
I also provide advice and guidance to employers prior to litigation. I offer a commercial and pragmatic approach to resolving a company's employee and other HR issues.
I work proactively alongside HR Directors, Departmental Managers, Business Owners and Company Directors to help them achieve their goals in a personal and commercially viable way.
I work as part of the commercial team at Clough & Willis, advising the commercial and corporate team and clients on employee issues in relation to restructuring and business sales and purchases, such as redundancy, relocation, benefits, compromise agreements, employment contracts and associated documentation.
I conduct bi-monthly forums with Managing Directors and HR professionals at which I provide up dates and practical guidance on Employment Law matters. I also provide regular comments and information for business publications and presents at seminars and workshops on employment law issues.

AT HOME
I have many sporting interests including tennis, running and I can often be found at Langtree Park supporting St. Helens Rugby League Club.
