As a specialist Employment Solicitor at Howells, I have a broad practice encompassing all aspects of Employment law across a wide variety of sectors.
In my role as Senior Associate I advise businesses and individuals on contractual issues, internal procedures and Employment Tribunal claims, including unfair and constructive dismissal, discrimination, breach of contract and unlawful detriment actions. I am experienced at handling settlement / agreed exit discussions and am able to co-ordinate and manage mass settlement agreement exercises for those affected.
I regularly advise on more complex matters involving whistleblowing, redundancy and transfers of undertakings (TUPE), as well as grievance, disciplinary and performance management matters.
I am committed to client care and I have a friendly, pragmatic and professional approach to guiding employers and individual employees through contentious and non-contentious employment issues.
I have contributed to discussions in local and national media and press on a range of employment law topics.
I have also been named as a Recommended Lawyer and as as 'Rising Star' in the Legal 500 in 2022, 2023 and 2024.
I am a member of the Employment Lawyers’ Association and the Cardiff and District Law Society.
In my spare time I enjoy family holidays, 5 a side football and music.
