I set up Bell Taylor as a boutique employment law consultancy for employers and individuals with a strong focus on building close professional ties with clients through understanding their needs and providing pragmatic solutions.

I began my legal career at private law firms in Shropshire and Wrexham before joining a niche commercial practice in Chester where he became an Associate and practiced a blend of commercial litigation and employment work. I have conducted both civil and employment cases of all kinds and value that include cases in the Employment Appeal Tribunal and the High Court.

I found myself practicing more and more employment cases so it was a natural step for me to move 'in-house' to an employment law consultancy further developing my expertise across a broad range of industry sectors throughout the UK including charities, manufacturing, care homes, hospitality, NHS and pharmacies, advising on both non-contentious and contentious employment law matters including tribunal advocacy and employment law and HR training.

I recognise that there is a big difference between employment law theory and practice and so I aim to provide straight forward and commercial advice focusing on my clients' goals.

Employers and individuals have access to 'employment law' at their fingertips, at any time online and from all sorts of sources, but I believe that it is another matter entirely putting the law into practice to fit each particular case you are trying to manage. I have a number of years experience advising companies not only as to 'best practice' employment law, but commercial thinking, tactics and strategy planning to achieve the desired outcome.

I have developed a specialist experience in advising SME businesses. It is those businesses that I believe are often the most exposed to tribunal claims and it is hugely satisfying supporting those businesses.
