As an experienced employment law solicitor, I advise employees and employers on a broad range of employment matters. I routinely advise clients on internal grievances, disciplinary procedures and redundancies in addition to robustly negotiating employee departures, where appropriate and drafting settlement agreements.

I have represented clients in the employment tribunal in claims ranging from unfair dismissal to complex discrimination claims preparing cases to final hearing and dealing with tribunal directions.

Whilst I am able to provide a full-employment law advice service, I have particular expertise in advising on issues regarding long-term sickness absence. I regularly advise on issues relating to work-related stress, depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia and disability discrimination claims. I am a regular contributor to The @Work Partnerships' Occupational Health [at Work] Journal and am invited by organisations to speak on this subject.

Making the decision to take things further or to litigate can be overwhelming which is why I try to make the decision as easy as possible for clients by explaining it all in plain English.
